So I am only just getting back to this Blogg, and it’s now (last viewed 3 months ago) October!!! I know that’s super lazy, especially when I’d already written July’s installment.. still that means that things have been keeping me busy and out of trouble for a while.
India is definitely over for me.. work wise at least. The company did ask me to go back, but luckily for me before I threw in the towel for good another opportunity came up… in Vietnam.
So, here I am.. and trust me, I’m lovin’ it… This place is like Vegas compared to Gurgoan.. I’ve already made heaps of friends and have been hoppin’ about as much as possible.. Sapa (Vietnam, China boarder), Halong Bay, any bar, pub or restaurant that will let me in … cut me some slack, I have 4 months to make up for ;o) plus I get to fly back to Singapore… or wherever I want to every other weekend.. It’s a sweet gig, and will do for now.
I’m missing home a bit now though… there’s talk of me being back in the UK early next year, and although I don’t want think about it too much until I know for sure what the plan is, it’s difficult. I really don’t know how I will feel about being back in London full time… I mean the initial thought of it is great! Then I think about the grey sky and rain.. and cold and it literally sends a shiver down my spine… Guess we’ll have to just wait and see what happens.
I’ll let you know more when I do…
But for now… ‘Hi’ from Hanoi!

Flying the coop!
India has been Tuuuuuuuuffffff! With a Capital Tu.
I wish I was in a better mind set to have appreciated it more, but when you are working, it ain't easy… even less easier when you’re working with a bunch of beep beep beeeeep beeeeeeeppppppssssssss… if you get my drift… lol
Actually there’re not all that bad, but I guess I can say that now that I AM LEAVING!!!!! Maybe I shouldn’t start gloating too soon… after all I have yet to board the plan, oh and then there’s the little matter about finding out where my next assignment will be… India??? :-o lol
India is soooooo beautiful, and I’m glad I took it upon myself to make sure I got out of the hell hole that is Gurgoan, to experience even just a bit of it… It was awesome to get out to the rural areas and see the green, clean and smog free India… topped off by the fact that I was able to hang out with relatives that I hadn’t seen for over 20 years! Not to mention all the wildlife…
Pigs, Snakes, Donkeys, Camels, Bats, Spiders, Cows, Bulls, Monkeys, Dogs, peacocks… hmmmm…. Have I forgotten anything… probably?!
But never mind all that I have a trip home, home… as in LONDON! Before I have to even start thinking about that… I will miss Singapore and Nev, and it sucks that I’ll only be back home (Singapore) for 4 days before I have to depart my beloved… but that’s, I’m afraid the way the cookie crumbled. Hopefully will be able to give my suitcase a bit of a rest once I’m back from the Big Smoke… If the company I’m working for lives up to my expectations (very, very low) that will more than likely be the case.
So watch this space for the next up date….
And if any of you are going to be in and around London, last week July – first week Aug… be sure to give me a shout!

380°
So… where did I end up….? Right back to where I started this thing ;o)
The motherland of course…
Currently spending 3 months in India… Delhi to be precise…
Well I like to think of it as Delhi, when in fact if I wanted, I wouldn’t have to see the slightest bit of Delhi, or in fact of the outside world. I’ve been put up in a five star hotel, just outside the chaos of the city… not that I’m complaining… The hotel is ace, as are the staff and I’ve pretty much become a part of the furniture… is it a bit fresh of me to be walking around the hotel barefoot? I could get used to the zero amount of house work not to mention lounging by the pool all day.
Anyhow…
I’m back in Singapore for 12 hrs tomorrow before I jet off to Thailand for a long ago planned weekend flowed by 4 days in the Philippines for Matt and Odyza’s wedding… Ohhhh I’m so excited.. my second gig as a bridesmaid… although I haven’t had a chance to see my dress, let alone have a fitting, so it could all go horribly wrong, oh well, I’ll just have to make sure that I have a glue gun and a stapler with me :-o
I’m missing home like crazy at the moment… )3 weeks in India will do that, especially when it’s only for work).
Singapore, and London… Mandy and Dre have just had another little girl and I want to see her soooo much. I’ll be back in the Big Smoke for a visit last week of July, first week of August, it’s gonna be manic, but I’ll try and catch up with as many people as possible, I promise.
Not sure what’s going to happen to me next… My gig in India is due to finish around mid July… bout the same time that I’m planning my trip home…
Then….????
Everything is up in the air at the moment. I’m hoping I’ll know a bit more about where I’ll be in 3 months time sooner, rather than later….
But then again… you know me… the last minute queen,
So… I guess I’ll just have to let you keep guessing.
Till the next time!

Not so peaceful Perth (this time around)
The last part of my trip in India was fantastic.. Hanging out with my mum in Mumbai and then with the rest of her family in Gujarat was awesome.. of course they just kept on at me to settle down, but that was bound to happen… I resisted the urge to tell them where to shove it as much as possible… and laughed the matter off.
Missing my flight home on the other had, was not a laughing matter… neither was spending the night at New Delhi Airport… I won’t be doing that again in a hurry!
Popping over to Perth this weekend for V Festival… can’t wait?!
If anyone’s going to be around be sure to give me a shout.
Apart from that March has pretty much been work, work, work.
The project I’m on may be over pretty soon, so watch this space to find out where in the world I will end up next!
Till then

What....??? 2009!!! Never!?
I guess the first thing to say would be.. Merry Xmas, and Happy New Year… I know, I know… but better late than never though… right?! :o/
My Xmas and NY was great…. I broke away from the norm and jetted off to Bali… Not that I had the choice to participate in the norm (not that I would usually want to either), but I thought if I wasn’t going to be able to do the traditional thing, I’d get as far away from the idea as possible.
I’ve been trying to wrack my brains to recall all the things I have done and places that I have been since I last wrote…. That’s the problem with not keeping this thing up to date… usually I would struggle to think of anything interesting to write, bun now after….. 3 months, there’s just too much!
I guess I should just go for the highlights … the most memorable being The Gibbon Experience in Laos… but you have to see it to believe it! So I’ll skip all that and just go straight to ‘Current Affairs’…
I’m in India… again… it seems like the only time I ever have to update this thing is when I’m out here… maybe ‘cos the office is soooo laid back that it takes an eon to get people moving… giving me a spare few moments to get things done!
Anyway I’m not sure how many more visits I’ll have out here now so I’m planning a little visit latched on the end of the work trip back out to the sticks… to see my relatives whom I haven’t seen in over 15years!!! Man that makes me feel old… I’m excited and scared all at the same time.. I mean I hope they aren’t going to expect me to milk the cow and go and get water from the well etc etc… I’ve become far too much of a princess to do that kind of thing! I just hope they have running water and electricity otherwise how will I be able to blow dry my hair!!!!
Back to home… I’m kind of sad that I’m missin’ the snow… can’t believe it hasn’t snowed this much in 13 years and I’m missing it, although I hear now that it’s gone a little bit beyond a joke?! Oh well.. who knows what will happen next year… I don’t know.. a little bit of snow and the country grind to a halt… actually the same could be said for a ‘little bit of sun’… didn’t the tarmac start melting last time?!
I’m missing home and the people (obviously) heaps… it’s been 6 months since I was home last…. Not that long I know, but still… It would be easier if I knew when I’d be able to visit again… even if it’s for a few days for a quick fix… I’m holding out for work to fly me back… I heard a whisper that it would be in March when the first phase of the project that I am on will come to an end, but the way that the project is currently panning out, it’s not likely to be until March 2000 and Never! I can’t complain.. the longer I can stick with this thing.. the longer I stay in Singapore, although the opportunity to move onto another project within APAC is imminent! At this rate I will NEVER settle down and all the efforts to find an eligible suitor will have been in vain,… ‘yes’, I’m afraid I have to admit that the quest continues… I have to hand it to them, my family is definitely persistent… I thought that they would have given up on me ohhhh about 2 years ago, but they are still hard at it… ok so the criteria may have changed slightly…. Male, and alive… but even with these new stringent set of attributes to comply with… (NOT)… the hunt continues. I on the other hand seem not to be sooo concerned as I used to be about all this (… let me just recall for a second… was I concerned…. hmmm.. maybe a tad). It’s easy to distance yourself from the immense fear that everyone else seems to suffer with that I am destined to roam the earth for the rest of eternity a lone (miserable) spinster when you are a million miles away from them ….(just call me Miss Haversham) :o)
Ok so I’ll stop wittering on now…
Just a mental note… up and coming shenanigans….

And hopefully Home at some point!
Ok catch you crazy catz later!

Giant Barracuda Swirly thing?!
Nev and I set off on another adventure… this time (diving) in Borneo… I have to admit I was a bit dubious about this trip… My memories of Borneo where pretty gloomy, it wasn’t so much the place as the people and the huge cultural difference… I guess matters were not helped by the fact that I was a lone Asian female in a Muslim country and although expected to, couldn’t speak the language!
This time however there was no mistaking I was a tourist! Traveling in style with a huge white guy and staying in hotels as opposed to (excuse me for being so blunt) $%!t holes!
Borneo was just as beautiful as I remember it… wet… but beautiful none the less.
We spent our first night in KK and then headed off to Sandakan the following day .
The journey to Sandakan has got to have been an adventure in itself… after spending a few hours at the airport, 2 delays, a cancellation, a change of flight and then more waiting, we were told that our original flight had finally arrived… as we were traveling light and seemed to be the only passengers booked onto that flight with hang luggage we were quickly ushered onto the completely empty plane! We took our private jet across the country to the jungles of Easter Sabha to visit the famous Sipilok Orangutan Sanctuary and also the amazing Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary…. It was amazing to see these creatures in their natural habitats…. Waiting for them to arrive at feeding time and trying to spot the multitude of little red faces hiding in the trees.
Our next stop was Tawau…… this being the real reason for our visit… Sipidan! One of the top 10 dive sites in the world.. and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! If it’s turtles and sharks (not to mention the odd sea snake) that you are after, this is the place for you. It was just as beautiful and breathtaking as I remembered… I was stoked that Nev was able to experience it for himself! Sipdan Water Village was stunning (with a ‘interesting’ i.e. strange, mix of local and foreign inhabitants) and I was glad that the experienced was not tarnished by the fact that we would have to stay in Sempora!
Anyway enough ranting for now…
Next stop Thailand!
;o)

Good Morning Vietnam!
And trust me… it was morning… around 4am on Saturday when we set of Ho Chi Min City, aka Saigon…
This weekend I ticked off another location of places that I have always wanted to visit, and one that I missed on my first time round….
I didn’t really know what to expect from Vietnam… it’s strange ‘cos living in Singapore really dilutes your image of the ‘real’ Asia…. Singapore is so developed and commercial, sometimes it’s easy to forget that you are Asia at all, and surrounded by most of the worlds developing countries… It’s shocking to take a bus or boat across the boarder into Malaysia and see the difference in lifestyle, culture, infrastructure etc etc.
Anyway I’m rambling… Vietnam was great… it’s been a while since I visited somewhere a bit…. Um… well, ghetto I guess. The people were sweet and friendly, the food was great that the roads were scary.. what more could a girl ask for… lol?!
The adventure began at the airport from the crazy visa lady to the dicing with death cab ride to the hotel… you should have seen this thing… as my man said ‘It was worse from the inside than out… and that’s what was most worrying’… Anyway we finally made it to the hotel… a masterpiece in the hustle and bustle of the smoky city center located on the edge of the Saigon River.
The city is pretty small and once we had our bearings we managed to take in pretty much all the major points of interest in the first day… walking around the war museum was pretty moving, it helped me to understand why there are sooo many physically challenged people in Vietnam… it’s quite heart renching… another reason probably steams from it being impossible to cross a road, or pavement in fact without having two pairs of eyes… Honestly it was a team effort to be able to get across the street, not just some of them…. ALL of them! I’m proud to say after a few near misses (which is all it takes) we had it nailed :o)
It’s a shame we didn’t have more time to explore the rest of the country but from what I did get to experience I really liked Vietnam, most of all the people from the smiley coconut sellers to random’s we asked for assistance who’d bend over backwards to help.
Hopefully I’ll get to go again soon but in the mean time I have a great weekend to store in my memory banks.
Cheers

Zoom Zoom
Life is a little crazy at the moment, but I am sure that that will not surprise you in the least.
I have as always been globetrotting. Now that I am living in Singapore, or as I like to call it ‘The Gateway to Asia’ I am traveling more than ever, trying to cram in as much of the continent as possible before I leave for pastures new.
It’s kind of exciting being her again, the prospect of hanging out with some old faces.. not to mention the new.
I’ve been working my pants off… covering 3 different time zones takes it out of you, you know! Although it can get stressful sometime, I can’t really complain, I get to travel with my job and it’s allowed me to travel to the other side of the world. I couldn’t be happier to be honest. Sure I miss London and that is where home will always be, but my life in Asia is great and lets face it, London ain’t going anywhere. Besides my mum came over to visit a few weeks ago and that certainly banished any feelings of homesickness that may have been rearing their head.
So apart from that not much else has been going on…
I’ve made some good friends, dive and travel as much as possible… work hard and play hard.
Just made a little trip across to Oz for a good old fashioned Ozzy wedding.. it was messy to say the least, messy but great… It was the wedding of a girl I hitch hiked with when I was in Oz last time believe it or not, managed to do a whistle stop tour catching up with as many people from the first time round as possible… Hangin’ out with the Cooparoo gang in Brizzy has got to have been one of the most bazaar experiences on the trip … lol.
In between India (for work) and planning my next trip I haven’t really had time to do much else… Oh except…
I’m trying to get fit and have started this health fad but I’m not sure how long that will last especially when I spend 50% of the time in pain, recovering from whatever crazy fitness activity I have decided I will get into ‘this week’…. None of them have been too expensive so far…. But let’s face it I’ve only just began… I could do that typical boy thing where I decide to take up golf… buy thousands worth of equipment and give them pride of place in the cupboard under the stairs…. Let’s see what happens.
Oh and how can I not mention the first ever Singapore Night F1 race! It was awesome…. My fella works for Shell so we had track side views with too much alcohol and not enough food ;o). Not sure if you guys caught it, but it was eventful to say the least!
What else have I been up to… time jus seems to be whizzing past??? I can’t believe I’ve been in Singapore for 5 months! I panic cos I feel I’m running out of time here to see things, I need to make sure that I don’t drag my heals… you know how these things happen in old age… ;o)
Anyway for those of you who are still traveling… keep crusading… and for those of you who aren’t… keep the dream alive I guess … and good luck.
I’ll try and write again soon…
Love as always

p.s. I just remembered, I don’t have any stairs :o/

Anyway for those of you who are still traveling… keep crusading… and for those of you who aren’t… keep the dream alive I guess … and good luck.
I’ll try and write again soon…

Pain in the ....
Hey Campers…
I am loving life right now, and it’s loving me!!!
Things are going grate in Singapore, unfortunately right now though, I am not there. I just flew into India for work again, but hopefully this time only for a week.
As usual I have been doing the traveling thing India, Malaysia, Thailand…. Well, that’s to come and Oz towards the end of the year, save that and drinking and partying and making new friends, not to mention house making… yeah that’s right,…. Me making home, things have been pretty….. um,….. Steady I guess.
Have been in Singapore for just over a month and although I miss London and my friends, we, me and my fella, have had soooo many visitors, it’s been pretty impossible to feel home sick.
We haven’t really done much in the way of sights in Singapore, to tell you the truth we really didn’t think there were that many touristy attractions, but the more we get to know the place, the more we seem to realize that we were wrong.
Any how from fear of falling into the tourist trap, we have now turned our attentions to seeing more of Southeast Asia than of Singapore itself… Off on a live-a-board dive trip in a couple of weeks … somewhere in Malaysia, can’t wait haven’t been diving in ages… Hopefully I will have fully recovered from the most excruciating massage that I have EVER had in my whole life by then… For those of whom ever get curious… I definitely advise AGAINST little Asian ladies offering Balinese massages that will leave you bruised from shoulder to ass! :o/
Hope all is well with you…

Hasta la vista
Hey campers…
I’m off again…
Yeah yeah I know, it seems like I only just got back, but it has actually been a whole year since I set foot back on British soil, and those feet were certainly beginning to get itchy.
It’s time to move on to pastures new… Asia is calling me and I feel I must answer… Singapore to be more precise.
I’ve managed to wangle a transfer and should be there for about 15months, that is if my visa gets accepted, otherwise I’ll be back in 3 weeks with my tail between my legs!
Anyhow… I’m actually leaving tonight! My transfer only came through a couple of weeks ago, and since then things have been moving pretty fast.
If you guys find yourselves in Asia, be sure to look me up. I am sure I will appreciate seeing a familiar face, besides Singapore airport is a major transit point in Asia, so you may find yourself there, even if you didn’t expect it!
I’ll do my best to keep the blogg up to date, but remember you can email me at sity@hotmail.com, if you need to get in touch.
I’ll catch up with you guys soon.
From London… Over and Out!

All work, work, work...... work???
There is nothing more I would like to say than ‘life is boring and there isn’t much going on at all’, but as you have probably guessed from my lengthy silence, this has NOT , been the case!
In between work, holidays, work, football, work, concerts, work, babies (not mine), work, more holidays and even more work, work, work life has been craaaaazzzzzyyy!
I can’t complain though, I am doing heaps of travelling and am currently working on a project out in India. I know it sound all glitzy, but all this travelling can tire a girl out…. I think I am ready for another holiday, lol ;o)
So in summary things are going quite well, my family is still on the ever increasingly futile quest to find me a suitor :o/ ??? Work is going well, but super busy so I’m puttin’ load’s of extra hours in, that’s not to say that I haven’t had the chance to let my hair down.
One of the highlights has to be my final week in London before I left for India…
Hanging with Kasey, Brett & Eddies birthday bash, My sisters random birthday lunch and Toby’s with Mike.
Oh and not to mention an awesome week in the Dominican Republic with Nev.
Lowlights were definitely the Rabies shots for India… yeah, yeah, I’ve already heard all the jokes so enough of that ;o)
I must take the opportunity to apologise to all of those whom I have neglected over the past couple of months….
Foster folks, Emma, Craig & Chloe-Leigh as well as my mates, I’ll use work as my main excuse, but there are soooo many more. I’d like to think that things will calm down over the up and coming months, but it look’s like I will be transferred out to Singapore for work for a while… probably about a year, so watch this space, and if you ever find yourself out in that neck of the woods, be sure to look me up. Singapore centre is only about a 20min drive from the airport, so no excuses!
Ok so I hope you are all safe and well, sorry again for not having been in touch for a while, will try not to be sooo much of a slacker in the future.
From Delhi…

Same old, same old
So what have I been up to… Globetrotting as much as possible to be honest… Let me see, the last time I wrote I’d just come back form Amsterdam after which I left for Germany with Ben to take in the sights, sounds and smells of Colognes world famous Christmas Markets. I couldn’t believe that such a small city could be home to such a big attraction. It was great... Didn’t actually buy anything… except lots of mulled wine … whoops ;o)
Christmas was a peaceful affair, hanging out with the usual crowd in Walton (shout out to Huck) and dinner with the Kennedy’s (Thanx Mike), and New Years was as crazy as ever.
I saw in the New Year with a trip away to Malta and then Iceland, weather wise, from one extreme to another. Both trips were great, but a word of warning to anyone planning to go to Iceland… Damn it’s expensive.. TRUST ME, when I say this… We’re talking almost 8 GBP for a beer, but it’s definitely worth it for a few days, it’s beautiful… As always I’ll get some photos when I have a bit more time on my hands.
Work is going well, but I never seem to have enough going on to stop me from thinking about traveling again.
There is the possibility that I am going to be sent out to India for a few months for work so that my keep the animal at bay for a while, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
Apart from that and throwing random coconuts into the Thames (trust me you don’t want to know), I haven’t really been up to much worth writing about… Life in London is pretty bog standard… I love this City and the people in it, but in terms of writing something interesting all I can say is bars, drinks, food, clubs. Etc, etc, etc…. ;o)
What have you guys been up?
Till the next installment…
xx

The End of the... End...???
I swear that I had half written a blogg at some point in October then forgotten about it, and now I can’t find it anywhere on my laptop hardrive…
Oh well here go’s again… I know, I know, I have been super lame again… and trust me this time is NOT ‘cos I have nothing to write about… This time is because I have been soooo busy that I haven’t had time to stop and think!
I can’t believe that the last time I wrote was in September, that’s pretty bad, even by my standards…
Where do I beginning….
Ummmm…
Well….
The past few months have been jammed packed with all the classic attributes that regularly feature in my life… there’s been some comedy, some tragedy, some drama, and even some action all mixed in with a dash of horror… lol
The highlights:
• Went to an awesome gig with Ben to see ‘John Butler Trio’… check them out they are pretty sweet band from Oz
• Reunion with the old Superbowl gang inc Natalie, Shana and Ryan whom I haven’t seen for like 5 years! Turned out be a double whammy as Natalie is hitched to a guy who is friends with some of my college buddies that I had lost touch with!
• Been to the West End a couple of times
• Joined the work Football team… ‘yes’ me, playing football!
• Spent a month in Singapore for work… and a little play!
Met the most fantastic people… shout out the entire Singapore gang, Jeanie, Nev, Philphee, Si, The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Crew, Dirty Uncle James and Shazza to name but a few!
• Mike’s Graduation
• Innovation-In-The-Dam – DnB Raving hard for 4 days!!!
• Cardiff (with Dave and Tom)
• Laura’s Art exhibition
• Not to mention the mission to find me a suitor!
To elaborate, it’s been a f’ing busy few months …
The dominating features having to be
My trip to Singapore which was to say the very, very least ‘Messy’, actually come to think of it, so was my trip to Amsterdam. These trips did however eat into my precious ‘Suitor Meeting Time’ and my relatives were NOT impressed.
It’s funny I think I mentioned in my last blogg that I was lovin’ single life, and the lack of ‘Man Trouble’… well I can tell you that I have been spending my time (not so wisely) over the past few months change that, through no fault of my own… ok maybe a little fault of my own?! ;o)
My folks keep tying to set me up on these ridiculous dates lol… I’m not sure where they are finding these guys but trust me when I say this it isn’t in the usual places… you know… son’s of friends, local super market, work, pubs, bars. clubs even wondering the streets aimlessly wearing a moldy old coat with a brown paper bag in one had and a fag in the other… oh no no no, these guys are in a league of their own… I’m not sure if ‘The Family’ is beginning to get desperate… or as my mother would imply… ‘even the later isn’t crazy enough to put up with my shit’?!!!
**shocked***… Me???!!!
Men are like the bloody London bus service… You wait and wait and wait and wait and then 3 come along at the same time….
Ok so I hate to do the whole ‘Women’s Lib Thing’…
But are ALL men really that stupid!
As if I didn’t have enough on my plate, I decided to embark on ‘The (find Sity a suitable man) Crusade’ on my own… On My Own!!! What was I thinking???... actually accepting an invitation on a date… with a ‘Man’ no less…… I’m telling you this much, the person in question has put the final nail in the coffin… He’s done the rest of the male population a huge favor, that is the last time I am going on a date chosen by ‘me’… from now on I am sticking to what I have discovered to be the best solution to my problems… They are… ‘non-dates’, these are almost the same as dates, but you have no expectation’s of the other person and vise versa… candidates also have to have known eachother for a substantial amount of time before they may participate… I’m still looking! Lol
If anyone wants to know the horror of that date, and no, I will not disclose any names, then email me for further info!
Ok so…
Apart from that…
Work’s work I guess and going ok for the moment… except for the complete imbeciles that I am surrounded by on a day to day basis… I’ll say no more on the topic, but you know who you are!? Look’s like I may get the opportunity to travel around Europe a bit over the next few months, so I’ll keep you guys posted.
And apart from that and the funky dreams I have been having, things are ok.
Ok I’m gonna stop ranting now…
I’m sorry I have been off the radar for a while, but I’m back now…
Hope you all have a fantastic Xmas, and I’ll catch you in the New Year…
(Missin’ you heaps)
Till then….

Game Plan...???
So what’s new in Sity’s world. Well not much to be honest. Things are pretty quiet. The last of the visitor from far, exotic lands have tailed off and I have been left to wonder the streets alone… Well that’s not exactly true. I’ve been hanging out with Vanessa from Peru for the past week, and have decided that she is going to be my new drinking buddy… Well for as long as she stays in London anyway. Have also been spending time with Dan (the new guy at work) and his missus. He’s a lot like me, likes to have a laugh, so we get along great!
If I’m going to get serious about getting my own place in London though things are going to have to calm down a lot more… I’m not sure if that is humanly possible, not for me anyway. I’ve laid the cards down and weighed up my options, and they are as follows:
a) Invest into developing a dump with a friend
b) Buy with a friend
c) Buy in the Midlands
d) Get a better paid job
e) Enroll in some clinical trials
f) Sell vital body organs for cold hard cash
and
g)… and my mother’s personal favorite and solution to all my problems…. Get married!!!
Don’t you just love living in a modern ‘free’ world full of choices?!
I haven’t decided which of my many choices I will pursue yet, but I’ll let you know when I do!
One thing I can be thankful for is the lack of man trouble that I am having at the moment…. That would be a direct result of not actually having a one… A man that is.
It seems to me that every female I know is having trouble related to the male species of this world! It’s quite liberating having your freedom and life to do whatever you please. I only wish my friends could see that. Guess it ain’t that easy when you are sooo close to the situation. All I can say to you guys is, and I know it’s a cliché but… ‘Time is a great healer’. I only hope I won’t be eating my words anytime soon.
Ok I gotta love ya and leave ya kiddies…
Till the next time….. Don’t go changing!
Quick updates:
Congratulations to:
Alick – On getting engaged
Mandy and Dre – Announcing the fact that they are going to be parents

I only hope I won’t be eating my words anytime soon.
Ok I gotta love ya and leave ya kiddies…
Till the next time….. Don’t go changing!
Quick updates:
Congratulations to:
Alick – On getting engaged
Mandy and Dre – Announcing the fact that they are going to be parents

Keep on Movin'
Once again its been a while since I last wrote....
I would like to say that it's because I have opted for the quiet life and that I don’t really have much to write about… Yeah right. Life has calmed down slightly since J and Alexx left London, but not much… Have been to Croatia and have had my Birthday so that was pretty hectic. Have also been spending quite a bit of time with my Dad, my step mum, and my half sister and new half brother… If that makes any sense at all… It’s pretty tough for me to get my head around, so won’t blame you if you are like… ‘huh’?!
Anyway life is pretty good., work has calmed down a bit and so at least I have tome to stop and think… although they may just be luring me into a false sense of security… The calm before the storm.
My main goal in life at the moment is to get myself some digs… so if any of you hear of a place a reasonably priced home that I may be interested in, give me a shout?!
I let you know how things progress on the home hunting front… an who knows once a I get a place sorted maybe you can come and visit?
That’s it for now….
Oh almost forgot… Gonna be catching up with Pete and Narelle (Terry's Aunt and Uncle form Oz) tonight… They are visiting London for a while… Can’t wait, should be fun.
Catch ya later
xx

Facebook warrior ... woohaa!
Hey guys and gals...
How are things. I know I know it’s been ages since I last wrote but as usual I haven't had the time to stop and think. Kindda cool really, but time seems to be flying by way too fast.
Reccon I'm having a midlife crisis... Felt like time is running out on me, and fast.
Still sooo many things I want to do... Haven't got time for work and play or even boyz!!!
Still trying to travel as much as possible... Mainly consisting of short trips around Europe at the moment, Paris, Gerona, Zagreb, Venice, Amsterdam…..
(Things are worse than I thought.. I actually started writing this Blogg over a week ago, and am only just managing to get back to finishing it now… oh dear.)
Anyway it’s been a brilliant couple of weeks… Have had sooo many people visiting from my trip over the past 2 weeks that it was almost like being away again… except for the parts where I had to work… I know, me, work! Lol.
Anyway Firstly I had Sunny and Alexis visiting, from Washington… State (Sunny… being Jesses’ (one of the 3 amigos) girl) Hok the Lithuanian, Lucy from BA and finally this week even J and his bro from Chicago…. It’s been the best.
Picked J up from the airport on Saturday and I swear I thought I was going to throw up from the excitement… nothing to do with having been out to the West End the night before to watch STOMP… for those of you whom haven’t had the chance to watch it yet… do yourself a favor and get down to the theater, I was blown away.
So anyway J is here for one more weekend and then life should get back to normal….???!!! I’m not sure what we will do this weekend, or what I can possibly plan that would match up to last weekend?! Ended up hitting Covernt Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Leister Square, Soho… etc…etc… Not sure what’s left … Brick Lane for sure, and then we’ll have to see where the beer takes us!
I am soooo lovin’ havin’ him here… missed him heaps.
Apart from all the visits things at home are settling down… Jobs going well… tough, but interesting and I’m being kept busy which keeps me out of half as much trouble as I would normally be getting into. Have been spending time with my family and friends which is great… Even went to a 4 day rave in Spain with Shane and Jammy… (it was the best DnB rave ever and I’m not sure how the one in Amsterdam in November is gonna scratch up, guess we will have to wait and see… get to Inno-In-The-Dam). Even managed to go to a wedding with my mum where I caught up with my dad (biological), his new misses and my new half brother and half sister… they are soooo cute. The wedding was massive… don’t know if you have ever been to an Indian wedding, but to put into perspective there were 1400 people there….none of whom the bride and groom will know!!! I went along to this one ‘cos it was actually the first wedding that I had ever been to where I knew the bride! Not really that great for me though ‘cos she’s a year younger than me, so it was open forum form me to get a grilling about being old, single and a spinster followed by my relatives and their friends trying to set me up with any guy with a pulse!!! Kept telling them no self respecting guy that hadn’t been committed at least once in his life would want to set up home with me…. Didn’t stop them from trying though…lol… Oh well.
Gotta dash…Will get some pics up as soon as possible, promise…. In fact the only reason I have time right now to finish this blogg off is ‘cos one of the servers at work has gone down!!! Oooops…. Anyway enough rambling… better get back to geeking it up.
Missin’ you lot like crazy... as alwways.
Sity… in a beautiful, sunny London!

Project... Where
Hey Guys
I know it’s been a while, but things have been a little crazy of recent!?
What with the job hunt, and then ending up with two!!! Don’t worry I’m not gonna go down the workaholic rout again. I have chosen only one… The one that by chance involves travel… surprise, surprise. Possibly not the best choice for me? Time will tell I guess.
Anyway I’m now officially an IT ‘Project Consultant’. Something I have never done before. Very challenging even a little scary at times…? But I wouldn’t have it any other way ;o)
I’ve been with this global telecoms company for 3 weeks, and I know that you will probably be disgusted but I have already been sent away for work, to Paris. It was a tough week of work and play and catching up with travel buddies… Pierre (Guatemala) and Greg (Thailand) who is actually in London at the moment!
Got back yesterday and am back working at the usual London office… Not for too long though… Off to Spain this week, should be back on Tuesday so I guess I’ll give you another update after then… Don’t worry I’m sure I won’t be able to sustain this jet-setting lifestyle for much longer?!
Other than the new job life is pretty quiet… Spending most of my time hanging out with family which I love.
Hope everyone is safe and well?
Write soon, let me know what you guys are up to.
I’ll get some more recent photos up when I get the chance….
I just signed up to ‘Facebook’ too… You should check it out, I warn you though it is highly addictive. The Internets version of Cocaine.

Back in the Big Smoke
So after a few hard weeks of partying followed by a couple of weeks job hunting I have landed myself a gig in London's Charring Cross as a Project Consultant. Last week was my first week back to work I over a year, and all things considering it wasn't too painful.
I love being in The City and the fact that the sun was shining for me, helped... A lot!
Ask me again at the end of this week, and maybe things will be different, at least it's a 3 day week?!
I still feel like I am away a little bit seeing as I have had a friend from Oz staying with me for the past week... ('Hey Scottie')... Gonna miss him now that he's moved out :o(
The bank holiday weekend was fantastic.... went to Brighton with Scott to hang out with my lil sis, and also managed to hang out with Rob (also and Ozzy) who I met in Rio.... was sooo nice to see them both.
Back to work tomorrow...it's pretty interesting and the people are great, hopefully I get to travel too...
Not much else to report, guess I will give you an update when life gets a little more interesting.
Till then
xx

Not much to Report
So I thought nothing would change while I was away?!
Well, it has and it hasn't. It's nice that all my friends are still around and that I have had ample oppertunity to hang out with them... The joy of being unemployed lol
But since I have been away pretty much all of my friends have moved, bought houses, got engaged or even married or had babies!!! I mean thats important stuff!!!
It feels like everyone is growing up and for the first time in my life
I am jobless, homeless, partnerless and pennieless all at the same time. Back to square one, but I guess this my oppertunity to recreat myself.
Watch this space... lol
On a lighter note have to say what a fantastic time I had at Pykie's leaving do (Good luck in Ibiza) and another one of Laura Harris' Ledgendary House Parties.
You can check out the pics on Flickr.
It was soooo nice seeing all those old faces again.
Till the next installment...
