Beer Ponged Out

I know you haven't heard from me for a while, but I've been a busy, busy girl, or am I confusing busy with lazy... hmmm...???

Anyway I'm still in San Fran, and seeing as how I am a local now, I can call it 'Frisco'. I've been here for bloody ages, and aside from doing all the touristy crap... Golden Gate Bride, Beat Museum, Alcatraze, Yosemite park... yada yada yada, I have been partying my little pants off!

I'm currently residing on Broadway at the Green Tortoise Hostel where it appears that the police states you have to have something 'Not Quite Right' about you to stay! I'M SERIOUS!!! The residents here have a lot to answer for... I fit right in ;o) I have met the strangest and warmest people yet.

Anyway I'm heading to Canada tomorrow so really excited about that. Have made a new travel buddy... Chris, who is also heading my way. I get some photos up, but have still not managed to find a computer with USB access... so you're just gonna have to wait... my apologies.

Finally a great big Thanx to everyone I met at the Tortoise... I had the best Thanxgiving ever!!! I think you guys helped me do more damage to my liver than anyone has ever managed before... Cheers!

Shout outs to: Aaron, Lisa, Chris, Elton, Peter, Simon, John, Blake, Warren, Andy, Adam, Mike, Paul, Julie, Reece, Cam, Ted and Lendon

Anyway I guess I'll catch up with you in Canada.

Take it easy

Stupefying San Francisco

To be honest I'm not quite sure what to make of San Fran... Seedy or Swanky?

My first impression hasn't been great, probably 'cos I had such high expectations and I arrived at 5am joining all the freaks and weirods out on the dark streets of SF resulting in me being propositioned!!!

Still I've moved to a fantastic hostel and things are looking up... as always I am trying to keep an open mind.

Watch this space.

Will get photos up as aoon as I find a USB connection

Viva Las Vegas

Well, well, well...

Soooo much has happened since I last wrote. Where was I ...?

Oh yeah... I left San Diego for the Grand Canyon and then Las Vegas, taking in Hoover Damn along the way. I have to admit, the Canyon was spectacular. We were pretty lucky as it was a beautiful hot day for us and visability was fantastic.

Las Vegas was interesting.... Not so much for the place as for the people. Once again I managed to stay in the worst area of town... AVOID FREEMONT!!!
Even the police warned me not to venture out on my own, saying that they didn't wanna be scraping me off the pavement!!! This probably worked out in favour for the hostel that I was staying at as it bought all the guests closer together, resulting in lots of 'team' activities such as, hitting 'The Stip' in a giant pink hummer limo, hostel BBQ's and trips to the flicks (went to watch Casino Royal, well, we were in Vegas, would be rude not to). Met sooo many unique people there, missing them now that I am in San Fran, have planned to meet up with some of them alonng the next leg of my journey.

One of the highlights of Vegas has got to have been driving out into the middle of the dessert in Clays convertible to watch the meteor shower in the middle of the night. Cheers Clay, that was an awesome experience, and one money can't buy.

Anyway I hope you guys aren't missing me too much ;o)

Have a fantastic Thanxgiving

From San Fran

Viva Las Vegas

Well, well, well

Soooo much has happened since I last wrote, where was I...? Oh yeah...
I left San Diego for The Grand Canyon & then Las Vegas, taking in Hoover Damn along the way. I have to admit the Canyon was awesome. It was a beautiful, hot day for us, so we were lucky as we had been advised to take jackets, but we didn't really need them.
Las Vegas was 'interesting', not so much for the place, but for the people. Once again I managed to stay in the worst area in town... AVOID FREEMONT!!!

Catch ya later crazy kidz...

Shout out to the guys at the Freemont Ghetto... Have a great Thanxgiving, hope your not missing me too much

San Diego Sunset

By far and away San D is my favorite West Coast city... It's got everything a girl could want...

Beautiful bods, beautiful beaches and beautiful booze!!!

Hung out on Ocean Beach for a few days before heading into the Historic Gaslamp Quarter. Made a new Canadian friend... Brendan who I have managed to talk into coming on a road trip with me to Vegas & The Grand Canyon!!! We leave tomorrow and then who knows where the road will take us.
One thing I do know is that I definitely wanna come back to this place, even if it is only to shop!

I have to give Dayla a shout out... (One of the girls from OC...) I randomly bumped into her last night after my crazy night out with Paul, Sean and Brendan, she took me on a wild tour of the suburbs and to some cool house parties... your crazy girl.. thanx for hooking me up.

Internet is way way expensive over here so I'll update whenever I can... Probably from San Fran... Where I should be spending Thanksgiving... How exciting!

p.s. Went to watch the Borat Movie tonight... How funny is that... It's soooo popular over here, and its a complete piss take out of the yanks... One thing you have to give them.. they sure can laugh at themselves, although a few people did get up and leave... Whoops :o/

Catch ya later

"Bust a cap in your ass"

My welcome to America was being forced by customs to book a hostel in LA before I arrived there... Arriving 'there' was weird enough for me seeing as I gained a day on my way over here?! :o/ In fact I actually landed here before I took off in Auckland :o/

So upon the recommendation of a 'Friend' and the 'S**t Planet' I chose Backpacker 'Paradise'... In INGLEWOOD... hmmm. You may ask yourself, 'What’s wrong with Inglewood', well, lets put it this way... There was a drive by shooting in Inglewood last week, behind my hostel, and, all guests were warned not to go outside after dark!!!

I managed to get hold of my friend Anita (a trekking buddy of mine from Thailand) who just so happened to be having a house part last night! and I'm currently residing with her in a rather nice part of Orange County... Thanx 'Nita, awesome party.

For all its flaws, I LOVE America!!!

Can't wait to hit San Diego this week...

xx

P.S. Did a massive tour of LA yesterday... All the touristy hot spots... Sunset Strip, Hollywood Boulevard... blah blah blah, blah blah blah. You gotta love being a tourist... so cheesy!!!

Asta La Vista Auckland

I have pretty much been doing NOTHING in Auckland, chilling out and socialising was high up on the agenda... and we all know what I mean by socialising, don't we...?! I'm sorry to say that my time in NZ is trough... I have cained this country and leaving the wake of devastation behind me, its time to hit the States.

I fly to LA tonight and will actually land in LA before I have taken off in NZ... weird concept, no doubt my body clock will be confused, but then again after last nights leaving do and Chris' Birthday Bash, you think I would be used to it.

Have to say a thanx to everyone that I have met in Auckland especially the Fort Street Gang, I wouldn't have made it through this week without you... Gimmie a 'Woo Rah'

Team America.... **** Yeah!!! ;o)

From Auckland.... Over and Out

xx
